Editorial Standards

How we research, write and review everything we publish — and how we make money.

What we are

VeloraLend is a marketing lead generator for the United States market. We are not a lender, a bank or a broker. We do not make credit decisions, set interest rates or fund loans. When you submit a request through our forms, we pass your details to third-party lenders and lending partners who may contact you with offers.

How we make money

We are paid by lenders and lending partners when we refer a consumer to them, and in some cases when a referred consumer goes on to take out a loan. That compensation never buys a favourable mention. No partner can pay to appear in an article, to be described positively, or to have criticism removed.

How articles are researched

  • We ground factual claims in primary public sources: the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Federal Reserve, the Federal Trade Commission, HUD, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Small Business Administration, and state banking and consumer-credit regulators.
  • Where we quote costs, we give typical market ranges and say plainly that actual rates and fees vary by lender, credit profile and state. We do not present a range as an offer.
  • We do not publish invented statistics, survey results, customer testimonials, awards or credentials. If we cannot verify a number, we leave it out.
  • Examples that show dollar amounts are illustrative calculations, and we show the assumptions behind them.

Review and updates

Every article carries a published date and a last-reviewed date. Lending rules, program limits and market conditions change, so we revisit articles and correct anything that has gone out of date. If you spot an error, email support@veloralend.com and we will check it and correct it.

What our articles are not

Our content is educational. It is not financial, legal or tax advice, and it does not take your personal circumstances into account. Product availability, maximum APRs and consumer protections differ from state to state. For decisions that matter, speak to a licensed professional.
